Everyone knows and loves the iconic “Big Mac”, so if hot dogs are your go-to at summer BBQs, then you’re in for a treat.
Ingredients:
- 60 grams of mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons of ketchup
- 2 tablespoons of mustard
- 1 tablespoon of sweet relish
- 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
- ½ tablespoon of garlic powder
- ½ tablespoon of onion powder
- ¼ tablespoon of salt
- ¼ tablespoon of smoked sweet paprika
- ¼ tablespoon of sesame seeds
- Shredded lettuce
- Sliced gherkins
- Chopped white onion
- 6 German sausages (bockwurst suggested)
- 6 cheese slices
- 6 hot dog buns
Step 1:
Turn on your Grillstream to between 180 and 200 degrees Celsius.
Step 2:
Score the German sausages to create a latticed pattern using a knife.
Step 3:
Mix the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, sweet relish, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and sweet paprika in a bowl to make the “Big Mac” sauce.
Step 4:
Grill the sausages until they are heated thoroughly and reach an internal temperature of 75°C.
Step 6:
Place a slice of thin cheese in each hot dog bun and top with a thin bed of shredded lettuce and sliced gherkins (two should suffice).
Step 7:
Place a sausage on the lettuce and drizzle with the “Big Mac” sauce.
Step 8:
Sprinkle with chopped onion and sesame seeds.
