Grilled Naan Bread with spiced mango chutney and mixed cheese is a delightful fusion of flavors with its savory and tangy profile.When grilled to perfection, the naan bread takes on a golden-brown hue, and the cheese melts into a luxurious, molten pool of goodness.

Ingredients:

  • 45 grams of cheddar cheese
  • 45 grams of mozzarella cheese
  • 10 grams of butter
  • 10 grams of watercress (remove the thick stems)
  • 3 spring onions (finely sliced)
  • 1 small green chilli (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp of coriander leaf
  • 1 large naan bread
  • 1 tbsp of caraway seeds
  • 1 tbsp of spiced mango chutney

Step 1:

Grate the cheddar and mozzarella cheese, then mix together in a bowl with the spring onion, chilli, caraway seeds, watercress and coriander leaf.

Step 2:

Cut the naan bread in half at the centre and spread the spiced mango chutney over one of the halves. Cover this with the cheese mix and top with the second half of the naan bread.

Step 3:

Heat your Grillstream to a temperature of 180 °C and melt your butter by placing on a ceramic dish on the heating rack (alternatively, melt in a microwave using a microwave safe dish).

Spread half of the melted butter over the top of the naan using a basting brush, then place on the Grillstream with the “buttered” face down. Cook until browning with clear = sear marks, then turn over and repeat on opposite side. Keep turning until the cheese inside has melted.
